Cindy Ellis and Wendy Pederson

Enjoy a free, live performance of holiday music starting at 4:30 PM, as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series. Held at Lummus Park, between 14th Street and 14th Place, the concert features vocalists Cindy Ellis and Wendy Pedersen, accompanied by a band featuring local musicians Ryan Ellis, Nicky Orta and John Yarling.

Cuban-American vocalist Cindy Ellis has performed with Coldplay, Jacob Collier and the Jaxon Max Ferdinand Singers as well as graced a number of stages at iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and the New World Center. Ryan, who also is an award-winning Miami-Dade music educator, has also collaborated with legendary jazz musicians, including bassist Eddie Jones and trumpeter Ira Sullivan. Joining Ryan is Wendy Pedersen, a University of Miami alum and award-winning vocalist known for her powerful performances and collaborations with artists like Gloria Estefan and Arturo Sandoval. 

The concert is free and open to the public, offering a relaxed, outdoor setting where attendees can bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the performance. Following the concert, the Festival of Lights will begin at 6 p.m., adding to the festive atmosphere. In case of rain, the event will move indoors to The Betsy Hotel.
