Clean Miami Beach: New Years Resolution Beach Cleanup
This event has passed.
A community beach cleanup invites volunteers to support ocean conservation through hands-on environmental stewardship on Miami Beach.
Clean Miami Beach: New Years Resolution Beach Cleanup takes place Saturday, January 17 at the beach at 63rd Street on Miami Beach. Hosted by Clean Miami Beach with support from community partners, the event brings together volunteers of all ages to help remove debris from the shoreline and nearby dune areas. Cleanup supplies are provided, including gloves, buckets, bags and pickers, and community service hours are available for participants who arrive on time.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes, bring a reusable water bottle for the refill station and use reef-safe sun protection. The group will meet at the oceanfront, marked by a turtle flag, and begin promptly at the scheduled start time. Parking is limited in the immediate area, with street parking available on nearby blocks and limited spaces at Allison Park.
