Clean Miami Beach: World Oceans Day Beach Cleanup
Jun 08, 2025
From: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Contribute to ocean preservation and help maintain the cleanliness of Miami Beach's coastline by participating in a community beach cleanup. Clean Miami Beach invites individuals of all ages to this environmental effort on Sunday, June 8, in recognition of World Oceans Day. The cleanup will take place at 101 Ocean Drive.
Co-hosted by Global Insurance and GATA, with support from ECF Wealth, popqueen, Boatsetter, William Grant Foundation, Delta Air Lines and the City of Miami Beach, the event will provide all necessary cleanup supplies, including sanitized gardening gloves, buckets, bags and pickers. Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, especially for dune cleaning, use reef-safe sun protection and bring their own water in reusable bottles. A refill station will be available, but plastic bottles will not be provided.
The meeting point is located at the oceanfront, identifiable by a turtle flag. Limited metered parking is available at 1 Ocean Drive. Community service hours are offered for participants who arrive on time.
