Climate Walk and Talk
Aug 02, 2025
From: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Explore how climate resilience can take root in your neighborhood through a walking tour, community dialogue and hands-on activities.
The Climate Walk and Talk takes place Saturday, August 2 at the Sunkist Grove Community Center in North Miami. Presented by the North Miami Development Services Department in collaboration with the MDC Office of Environmental Risk and Resilience and the Resilient305 Collaborative, this event invites residents to share local insights while learning about strategies for climate adaptation, flood reduction and water quality improvement. Attendees will participate in a guided walk, interactive stations and receive a free lunch. Adults who complete all activities may be eligible for a $25 gift card (limited to two per household, while supplies last). A follow-up workshop is planned for September to begin shaping neighborhood projects.
