Nov 11, 2025
Starting: 9:00 AM
Patriotism and community pride take center stage as Coconut Grove honors those who have served.
The Coconut Grove Veterans Day Celebration, presented in partnership with American Legion Post 182, returns Tuesday, November 11, with one of South Florida’s largest Veterans Day parades and a morning graveside ceremony honoring fallen heroes. The day begins at 9 a.m. with a solemn remembrance at Charles Avenue Cemetery (3650 Charles Ave.), followed by a 10 a.m. parade kickoff at 3400 Grand Avenue, hosted by 99 JAMZ radio personality Brandi Troup “That Girl.”
This year’s procession features more than 1,400 participants, including 16 marching bands from Miami-Dade and Broward County high schools, community groups and local organizations. The parade travels through the heart of Coconut Grove, concluding at Armbrister Park (4000 Grand Ave.), where the celebration continues with tributes, music and family-friendly festivities.
Supported by local leaders and community partners, including City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, Commissioners Damian Pardo and Ralph “Rafael” Rosado, and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Raquel Regalado, the event honors veterans while celebrating the enduring spirit of unity and gratitude that defines the Grove.
