A Pilates-based workout takes to the tennis court for a dynamic morning focused on strength, balance and breath.
Core on the Court with Gina Murray takes place Sunday, February 8 at the Miami Beach Tennis Academy. The 60-minute mat class blends controlled Pilates movements with functional exercises designed to support athletic performance and everyday mobility, with an emphasis on core stability, rotation, balance and alignment. While especially beneficial for tennis players, the session is accessible to all levels and bodies.
The class is led by Miami-based master instructor Gina Murray, a longtime fixture in the city’s fitness community known for integrating classical Pilates technique with creative, athletic flow. With more than a decade of experience teaching Pilates and six years teaching yoga, Murray brings a holistic approach shaped by her background in movement education, alignment and breath. Her teaching style reflects a balance of strength and mindfulness, informed by her signature fusion of yoga and Pilates principles.
Set courtside, the experience offers a feel-good flow designed to leave participants feeling strong, energized and grounded. Yoga mats are provided, along with snacks, drinks and gift bags valued at $75. Attendees are encouraged to wear all white and are welcome to bring a friend. All levels are welcome.
