Counter Culture Coffee Training Center

Prospective festival participants can workshop ideas for the 2027 O, Miami Poetry Festival during an informal proposal-planning session at Counter Culture Coffee Training Center. Taking place Friday, October 9, the gathering focuses on developing projects around the 2027 festival theme, Transformation, with guidance from O, Miami staff, past project managers and fellow creatives.

The session includes an overview of the proposal process, time for questions and collaborative brainstorming, plus a complimentary coffee tasting hosted by Counter Culture Coffee. It is the final in-person info social for artists and organizers considering submissions for the 2027 festival.

Held each April during National Poetry Month, the O, Miami Poetry Festival combines site-specific events, community programs and poetry in public spaces with the goal of bringing poetry into everyday life across Miami-Dade County. Admission to the info social is free with RSVP, and space is limited.
