Crandon Marina Coastal Cleanup

Help preserve Miami’s coastal ecosystem by volunteering at a monthly cleanup effort at Crandon Marina. Participants assist park staff in removing microplastics and trash from the mangroves and riprap, contributing to a healthier ocean environment.

The Crandon Marina Coastal Cleanup takes place every third Friday of the month at Crandon Marina. Volunteers are asked to arrive on time and check in with park staff at the start of their shift. Youth under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes and bring sun protection, a refillable water bottle and gloves, if available. Community service hours are available upon request following the event.
