Crandon Park Hike and Snorkel Excursion

Discover the coastal habitats of Key Biscayne on foot and in the water during this guided exploration of Crandon Park’s Bear Cut Preserve. Presented by Miami EcoAdventures, the Crandon Park Hike and Snorkel Excursion takes place Saturday, July 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 9 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The program begins at the Crandon Visitors & Nature Center with a short hike through dunes and hardwood hammock, followed by a snorkeling session in shallow seagrass beds and over a fossilized mangrove reef. Led by water safety-trained guides, this 3.5-hour experience concludes with a shoreline walk focused on local conservation. Suitable for ages 9 and up. Participants must be able to swim; those under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
