Creative Escape: An Art & Wellness Experience

A guided painting session offers a low-pressure setting for creativity, relaxation and community connection at Gato Gordo Gallery. Held Sunday, September 20, the free two-hour program is designed for participants of all experience levels and is conducted entirely in Spanish.

Rather than focusing on technical instruction, the session emphasizes the creative process as a way to slow down and step away from everyday stress. Participants receive step-by-step guidance in a relaxed setting with music, and all painting materials, including canvases, paints and brushes, are provided.

Each participant leaves with a completed artwork to take home. The program is presented by Gato Gordo Arts, a nonprofit organization focused on creativity, well-being and community engagement through the arts.
