Traditional folk dancing, hearty Central European dishes and a lively beer garden come together at Miami’s only Czech-Slovak beer and culture festival.
Taking place Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26 on the tree-lined grounds of the American Czech-Slovak Cultural Club in North Miami, Czech-Slovak Oktoberfest offers a weekend of music, games and cultural celebration. Guests can enjoy live performances by the International Polka Band and DJ Chris, take part in contests like stein-holding and strudel-eating, and explore a festive beer garden pouring imported Czech and Slovak brews. Food highlights include schnitzel, sausage plates, goulash, kolache and apple strudel, all prepared under the guidance of longtime Club chef Renata.
Family-friendly activities include traditional dance showcases, a Kids Zone with inflatables and crafts, and hands-on cultural experiences throughout the club’s 3.5-acre historic campus. General admission and VIP packages are available, with a portion of VIP tickets including food, drinks and reserved seating.
