Traditional Czech and Slovak food, music and customs take center stage during a weekend festival at the American Czech-Slovak Cultural Club in Northeast Miami-Dade. Taking place Saturday, October 24 through Sunday, October 25, the event transforms the club’s grounds along Arch Creek into a village-style setting inspired by Central European Oktoberfest traditions. The family-friendly celebration highlights cultural heritage through a mix of performances, cuisine and interactive activities.
Visitors can sample classic dishes such as schnitzel, sausages, beef goulash, pretzels, kolache and apple strudel, paired with imported Czech beers and other beverages. Live entertainment includes polka music, DJ sets and traditional dance performances, while a beer garden offers games and a relaxed gathering space. Additional activities range from stein-holding and eating contests to costume competitions.
The festival also features a designated kids’ area with inflatables, crafts and games, making it accessible for all ages. General admission and VIP ticket options are available, with VIP packages offering reserved seating, food and beverage inclusions and additional amenities.
