Daijaku Attacks Miami with Slimers
Mar 03, 2026
From: 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM
Masked instrumental surf rock collides with high-energy live theatrics when Daikaiju takes over Churchill’s Pub in Little Haiti. The Huntsville, Alabama–based band performs Tuesday, March 3, with local support from Slimers.
Formed in 1999, Daikaiju takes its name from the Japanese word for “giant monster” and is known for anonymous stage personas, Japanese masks and an intense performance style. Blending reverb-drenched surf guitar with punk-driven momentum, the quartet has built a cult following through relentless touring across the U.S. and Europe. Over the years, they have released multiple EPs and a self-titled full-length album, establishing themselves within the modern surf and underground rock scenes.
