Day of the Dead Celebration

CityPlace Doral's Day of the Dead Celebration returns for its third year from October 1 through November 2. This month-long activation culminates in a free community celebration on Saturday, November 2.

Surround yourself in the rich traditions of Día de Muertos with themed decorations throughout CityPlace Doral. As you enter, you'll be greeted by a wooden calavera (sugar skull) and a canopy of marigolds. Sugar skulls will be displayed throughout CityPlace Doral, and the Fountain Plaza will feature an altar display of trío catrines (male skeleton figures) adorned with flowers, marigolds and other traditional elements.

The main Day of the Dead celebration will take place on Saturday, November 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. Enjoy face painting, food samples, performances and the "El Mercado" night market. Bring your furry friends to City Bark dog park and explore the festive decorations.
