Day of the Dead Celebration
Nov 01, 2026
From: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Folkloric dance, mariachi music and a costumed procession bring Día de los Muertos traditions to CityPlace Doral for a free community celebration. The fifth annual event takes place Sunday, November 1 at Fountain Plaza, with performances, family activities and cultural displays centered on remembrance and celebration of life.
A center-wide procession will feature folkloric dancers, stilt walkers, mariachis and oversized calavera and Catrina puppets. Comedian Rafael Leidenz will serve as emcee and present a tribute to Mexican singer Juan Gabriel, alongside a special youth performance.
Families can also take part in complimentary face painting, sample food from CityPlace Doral restaurants and browse the El Mercado vendor market. Día de los Muertos decorations, including sugar skulls, hanging décor and photo installations, will remain on view throughout the plaza through November 3.
