Easter Egg Drop

A helicopter egg drop releasing tens of thousands of candy-filled eggs highlights this large-scale Easter celebration at Charles Hadley Park. Taking place Saturday, April 4, the annual community event combines family activities, entertainment and resource-focused programming in an open park setting. Designed for all ages, the experience blends traditional holiday elements with interactive attractions.

The event features an Easter egg race, inflatable play areas and a variety of games, along with food trucks and live entertainment throughout the day. A designated resource fair offers services such as haircuts, dental kits and health screenings, while a sensory-friendly VIP area provides a more accessible environment for children with different needs. The centerpiece helicopter drop delivers approximately 60,000 eggs filled with prizes and treats.

Presented by VOUS Church in partnership with the City of Miami Mayor’s Office and the City of Miami Police, the event emphasizes community engagement alongside its festive programming.
