Brazilian pianist and vocalist Eliane Elias interprets Antônio Carlos Jobim’s bossa nova repertoire alongside jazz standards and pop selections. The concert takes place Saturday, April 17 at Pinecrest Gardens as the closing performance of the 17th annual Jazz at Pinecrest Gardens season. Marking the centennial of Jobim’s birth, the program includes works such as “The Girl from Ipanema” and “Desafinado.”
Elias is joined by bassist Marc Johnson, guitarist Leandro Pellegrino and percussionist Rafael Barata. Born in São Paulo, she has built an international career spanning Brazilian music and jazz, earning multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards across more than 30 albums. The performance follows the scheduled January 2027 release of her tribute album Jobim Centennial.
Season subscriptions are available in June and July, while single-show tickets go on sale August 3.
