Starting: 8:00 PM
Music, culture and community converge as an internationally renowned party series returns to Wynwood for Miami Art Week. Everyday People Miami takes over Wynwood Marketplace on Saturday, December 6, bringing its signature celebration of the Black diaspora through 90s R&B, global sounds and an inclusive atmosphere.
Founded by Saada Ahmed, Chef Roblé Ali and DJ Moma, the series has earned recognition from Vice as "The World's Coolest Day Party" while expanding from intimate brunches to a global phenomenon with events in New York, Los Angeles, Nairobi and Johannesburg. The Miami edition features sounds by Moma & Friends, with hosts Gitoo, Ruthless Rudi, Shernita and Maine guiding the evening's programming.
Dance motion performers Call Me Tight and Hooliboy add live entertainment to the musical lineup. Rooted in the spirit of Arrested Development's anthem "People Everyday," the 21-and-over party emphasizes connection across cultural boundaries while showcasing contemporary Black music and artistic expression.
