Family Day at the Garden: Nature in Community

A free afternoon of nature-inspired activities invites families and visitors of all ages to explore creativity and community at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Family Day at the Garden: Nature in Community takes place Sunday, March 29.

Part of the garden’s Nature as Medicine initiative, the event is organized in collaboration with neuroXnature and focuses on the benefits of nature-based experiences for well-being and connection. Participants can explore interactive stations throughout the garden featuring hands-on, sensory activities inspired by the natural environment.

Led by local artists and scientists, the activities encourage curiosity, creativity and collaborative learning across generations. Designed as an intergenerational gathering rather than a children-only program, the event offers a welcoming space for families and community members to connect with nature and one another.
