Felix Sama's "Make Rockstar DJ Money" Book Launch

A book launch and live conversation explore the business side of DJ culture through the perspective of a longtime South Florida tastemaker.

Felix Sama’s “Make Rockstar DJ Money” Book Launch takes place Sunday, February 1 at the Museum of Graffiti. The event features a reading and discussion led by Felix Sama, followed by a Q&A session focused on turning creative practice into a sustainable career.

The program centers on Sama’s new book, Make Rockstar DJ Money, which outlines practical approaches to branding, bookings and income for DJs and independent creatives. In addition to sharing insights from the book, Sama will sign copies for attendees and close the evening with a live DJ set.

A veteran of South Florida nightlife, Felix Sama is known for shaping club culture through freestyle, hip-hop and open-format DJing, with past work spanning major venues, radio and television. His career includes national exposure through iHeartRadio and MUN2, as well as ongoing projects through DJ Sama Entertainment and Real Vibes Music. The event is presented as part of the Museum of Graffiti’s community programming, with support from Monster Energy.
