FETA Water Fest
Mar 13, 2026 - Mar 14, 2026
From: 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM
A two-night experimental festival explores drinking water as sound source, subject and shared resource through art and technology.
FETA Water Fest takes place Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14 at The Bridge Miami. Presented by the Foundation for Emerging Technologies and Arts in partnership with The Bridge Miami, the program brings together sound artists, technologists and researchers for performances, installations and discussions centered on water’s sonic life and cultural presence.
Participating artists include Alex Lough (NJ), Margaret Lancaster (NYC), Troy Rogers (MN), May Klug (MN), Charles Peoples III (VT), Paula Matthusen (CT), Jeniffer Beattie (NC), Nicole Martinez (FL) and Brian Niños (FL). Across both evenings, performances and installations are preceded by artist perspective panels.
Programming also includes themed sessions that examine water from sensory and scientific angles. On Friday, “Water in Beverages” features a demonstration and discussion on the role of water in tea, coffee and brewing. On Saturday, “What Do We Drink?” presents the Best Miami Tap Water Competition, led by master water sommelier Rodrigo Anglarill.
Positioning water as collaborator rather than backdrop, the festival invites audiences to consider how the sound and quality of water shape everyday experience and collective responsibility.
