Flamenco Fiesta

Flamenco rhythms spill onto the plaza in a free, immersive celebration at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Flamenco Fiesta takes place February 28 through March 1 at Thomson Plaza for the Arts, inviting guests to experience the movement, music and traditions of this vibrant art form.

Presented as part of Arsht Plus, the event features interactive workshops and cultural stations led by Miami-based companies Siudy Flamenco Dance and Siempre Flamenco. Participants can explore the fundamentals of flamenco, from expressive footwork and choreography to the percussive rhythms of palmas, castanets and cajónes. The program is hosted by Univision’s Monse Medina.

Accent Café will be open throughout the celebration, offering Flamenco Festival Miami’s signature Rosé Olé cocktail along with a full bar and light bites available for purchase.

Flamenco Fiesta precedes performances by Son Gitano and internationally acclaimed dancer Sara Baras, whose production Vuela runs February 28 through March 1. Admission to Flamenco Fiesta is free; RSVP is encouraged.
