Flamenco Sephardit

Flamenco dance, Sephardic song and Ladino traditions come together in a cross-cultural performance at the Miami Beach Bandshell. Presented Sunday, January 24 by Siempre Flamenco, Flamenco Sephardit returns for its 13th year with a program blending the music of Sephardic Spain with the rhythmic and expressive traditions of flamenco.

The production features Celia Fonta, Paco Fonta, Nathalie Avila, Nelson Martinez, Jose Moreno and Jose Cortes Panzekito, bringing together vocalists, dancers and musicians in a repertoire shaped by strings, percussion and flamenco rhythms. Presented by Jeffrey Eckstein and Siempre Flamenco, the program explores connections between two traditions rooted in centuries of Spanish cultural history.
