Explore bold, original storytelling from across the continent as the MIAMI short FILM FESTIVAL presents an evening of short films from South America at the Deering Estate.
Focus On: Films from South America takes place Sunday, July 13 in the Deering Estate Visitor Center theater. The program begins with a welcome cocktail reception (ages 21+), followed by a curated screening of five narrative short films from Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia and Peru. Presented in partnership with Miami-Dade Parks and the Deering Estate, the event showcases work by emerging directors whose films range from political and poetic to intimate and surreal. All selections are recommended for ages 18 and up.

Tickets are $20 general admission and $16 for students, seniors and military, available online only through the MIAMI short FILM FESTIVAL. Free parking is available in the Visitor Center lot on SW 168 Street just west of 72nd Avenue.
