Free Second Saturdays: Hispanic Heritage Month
Oct 10, 2026
From: 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM
Art-making, live performance and gallery activities highlight Latin American and Latino artists during a free day at Pérez Art Museum Miami. Held Saturday, October 10 as part of PAMM’s Free Second Saturdays series, the program marks Hispanic Heritage Month with activities across the museum and waterfront terrace.
Visitors can create work inspired by Peruvian American artist Gonzalo Hernandez and his textile-based pieces featured in This Is America: Selections from PAMM’s Collection. Inside the galleries, Miami-based Colombian American artist Gabriela Serra leads an interactive workshop centered on naturally derived pigments and connections to the natural world.
The day also features Auto-Mariachi, a live performance conceived by Mexican American artist Oscar Rieveling that draws on the tradition of mariachi music. Museum admission is free all day, with art activities offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. while supplies last.
