Frost After Dark: Bring Your Own Vinyl Night

Music, art and community take center stage as the Frost Art Museum invites guests to an evening of sound and creativity with Frost After Dark: Bring Your Own Vinyl Night.
The night begins with a vinyl set by Miami-based DJ Lotusoph, whose Brazilian-Cuban roots and Miami influences merge into an eclectic blend of deep house, salsa, samba and melodic grooves. Guests are encouraged to bring their own clean records to contribute to an audience-curated listening session from 6 to 8 p.m., creating a shared soundscape that celebrates personal taste and collective rhythm.
Alongside the music, participants can take part in an art-making activity inspired by Agustín Fernández: The Alluring Power of Ambiguity, hosted in collaboration with FIU’s Fine Art Student Association and Art History Student Association.
The event features a custom sound system designed by PRISMA, a Miami-based studio exploring intersections of architecture, sound and performance, with complimentary beverages provided by Cervecería La Tropical.
This installment of Frost After Dark takes place Wednesday, November 5 at the FIU Frost Art Museum.
