Frost Chopin Festival: Something New, Something Borrowed

Award-winning educator and Dean at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami Shelly Berg will be performing original, arranged and improvised music on Friday, June 30 as part of the 5th Frost Chopin Festival program. Recognized by the Los Angeles Times in 2000 as one of three “Educators for the Millennium,” Berg is the author of a selection of textbooks on Jazz improvisation, and has appeared as a performer and lecturer throughout the United States, Canada, China, Mexico, Europe, Israel, Japan, Romania, and Venezuela. He is also a Steinway piano artist and multi-Grammy nominated arranger and producer.
