Full Moon Yoga, Sound Healing & Potluck
Mar 03, 2026
From: 4:44 PM to 10:00 PM
Mark the full moon with an evening of beachside yoga, sound healing and community drumming along the shoreline of Miami Beach. Held near the 80th Street Lifeguard Stand, this monthly gathering brings together locals and visitors for movement, music and shared connection under the rising moon.
The event begins at 4:44 p.m. with sunset yoga followed by a guided sound healing session on the beach approximately 200 to 300 feet north of the 80th Street Lifeguard Station on Miami Beach. Participants are encouraged to bring yoga mats, blankets and instruments if they wish to join the sound experience. The evening may also include a flower mandala or moon ceremony as part of the sunset program.
Following the yoga and sound healing, attendees gather for a casual potluck nearby. Guests are asked to bring their own cups, food and beverages to share and to observe Leave No Trace principles by cleaning up after themselves.
Around 6 p.m., the community drum circle begins on the south side of the 80th Street Lifeguard Stand on Miami Beach. Described as one of the largest regularly occurring drum circles in the United States, the open-format gathering welcomes drummers, dancers and spectators. The event is all ages and open to the public.
Free parking is typically available after 6 p.m., though attendees should check posted signs and meters. The beach entrance is accessible via Collins Avenue near 79th to 81st streets.
