Futurama Collective
Feb 28, 2026
From: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Step inside a working art collective in the heart of Little Havana during this Open House Miami experience at Futurama 1637. Visitors are invited to explore artist studios, view original works and meet the creators behind them in an active creative space.
Established in 2011, Futurama 1637 Art Building houses 12 studios and showcases work by more than three dozen artists. The building functions as both a workspace and marketplace, offering insight into contemporary practices across painting, mixed media and other visual disciplines. During this event, guests can move through the studios, engage directly with artists and learn about the processes behind the pieces on display.
Presented by the Miami Center for Architecture & Design as part of the Open House Miami lineup, the Futurama Collective gathering takes place Saturday, February 28 at the Futurama 1637 Art Building in Little Havana. Open House Miami is part of an international initiative that provides free, behind-the-scenes access to cultural and architectural spaces throughout the city.
