GablesStage Talk with Nilo Cruz and Gabriell Salgado takes place Sunday, January 25 at Books & Books. The program features Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and director Nilo Cruz in conversation with Gabriell Salgado, who stars in GableStage’s production of Sotto Voce. Their discussion focuses on the development of the play, its themes and the transition from script to stage.
Sotto Voce is a contemporary work that explores memory, longing and the lasting impact of the Holocaust. During the talk, Cruz reflects on writing and directing his own work, while Salgado offers perspective from within the production, providing audiences with a deeper understanding of the play’s characters and emotional landscape.
