Generational 305: An Intergenerational Poetry Project
Nov 22, 2025
Starting: 11:00 AM
Poetry, memory and community come together in a celebration of Miami’s shared stories at the Miami Book Fair.
On Saturday, November 22, Miami-Dade County Poet Laureate Caridad Moro-Gronlier and Poetry Ambassador Nicole Tallman present Generational 305: An Intergenerational Poetry Project, a new initiative that bridges generations through verse. Held at Room 8303 in the MDC Wolfson Campus, the event features readings by acclaimed poets Richard Blanco, Jen Karetnick, Mia Leonin and Rani Ruado, whose works reflect on connection, identity and legacy across time.
Following the readings, audience members are invited to take part in an interactive Q&A and creative exercise, contributing their own words to the Generation 305 public poetry archive. Together, participants will help shape a living collection that captures the voices and stories of Miami’s multigenerational community.
