A late-night descent into Miami’s goth and new-wave undercurrent unfolds at Shirley’s Theater as Girlfriend 1988 returns with a soundtrack built for after-hours immersion. The party gathers devotees of synth pop, industrial and shadowy ’80s rhythms, shaped by the dueling sensibilities of DJs Rippin Kittin and Shirl Legion.

Set inside Gramps’ intimate performance space in Wynwood, the night leans into the aesthetics that define the party’s cult following, moody textures, deep cuts and a dance floor that doesn’t wake up until nearly midnight. Doors open at 11:45 p.m., with music running until 3 a.m.
