Halloweek at La BOO-Belle Piano Bar

Halloween costumes, all-request songs and cabaret-style piano bar entertainment take over La Poubelle for a Halloweek edition featuring longtime collaborators Victor Valdez and Rick Leonard. Held Thursday, October 29, the 21-and-over event brings the duo’s audience-driven mix of music, comedy and spontaneous requests to the intimate Miami Beach venue.

Valdez and Leonard have performed together for years, including at the former Magnum Lounge, and their La Poubelle sets draw on an expansive repertoire that can move from Broadway and pop standards to parody and unexpected requests. Guests are encouraged to submit songs and tip the performers throughout the night.

Opened in 2024, La Poubelle is a 50-seat speakeasy-style cabaret tucked away in Normandy Isles, with red velvet, candlelight and supper-club décor setting the scene. Food and cocktails are available before the performance, with a $25 food and beverage minimum per person in addition to admission.
