Halloween Spooktacular

A Halloween-themed concert brings jazz, pop and film music together for a family-friendly evening at the South Florida Center for Percussive Arts. Taking place Saturday, October 24, the program is led by pianist Zach Bartholomew and features music associated with artists including Michael Jackson, Vince Guaraldi, Wayne Shorter, Thelonious Monk and Frank Sinatra, along with selections from Ghostbusters, Harry Potter and other screen favorites.
Bartholomew is joined by David Fernandez on saxophones, Jamie Ousley on bass and Lucas Apostoleris on drums. Audience members, staff and musicians are encouraged to attend in costume, with a costume contest and prizes planned during intermission.
Food and drinks from Taco Time & More will be available before the concert. The South Florida Center for Percussive Arts is a nonprofit organization focused on expanding opportunities to study, perform and experience music through percussion.
