Handle With Care: Opening Reception
Dec 02, 2025
From: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
A collaborative exhibition shaped by DIY publishing, independent art scenes and cultural activism brings together a broad network of artists during Miami Art Week.
Handle With Care: Opening Reception at Dále Zine Shop marks the launch of a group show co-curated by Dále Zine and Subliminal Projects, the Los Angeles gallery founded by Shepard Fairey. The exhibition gathers longtime collaborators and new voices from both communities, reflecting shared roots in zine culture, skate culture and artist-driven organizing. Works explore themes tied to care, community and creative resilience, offering a grounded counterpoint within the broader art-week landscape.
The opening event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on December 2 and includes a DJ set by Shepard Fairey along with a performance by Poncili Creación. Participating artists include Ade Ogunmowo (Polo Cutty), Alejandra Moros, Alvaro Ilizarbe, Brian Butler, Ernestine Klecz, Gabino Azuela, Heather Benjamin, Jean Chung, Jeffrey Cheung, Kelly Breez, Kristofferson San Pablo, Kyle Chapman, Lee Pivnik, Lillian & Steve, Mario Ayala, Natalia Chavarria, Nathan Bell, Poncili Creación, Rob Sato, Shepard Fairey, Terra Keck, Thomas Bills and Tim Biskup.
The exhibition is hosted at Dále Zine’s Miami Design District space, known for championing independent publishing, community programming and accessibility within the local creative ecosystem.
