Helado Negro
Dec 18, 2025
From: 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM
A quietly transportive evening unfolds at ZeyZey Miami as Helado Negro returns to South Florida, the landscape that shaped his earliest sensibilities. Known for crafting emotionally saturated, bilingual avant-pop, Roberto Carlos Lange builds music that feels both intimate and atmospheric—songs engineered, mixed, and produced by his own hand to form a sonic world that is distinctly his.
His appearance on Thursday, December 18 arrives in a year marked by new creative momentum. In 2025, he released The Last Sound on Earth on Big Dada, a project sparked by the question of what the final sound one might hear could be. The album channels unease, hyperconnectivity, and quiet persistence into heavy electronics and kinetic textures, continuing his long-standing exploration of memory, identity, and transformation.
That multidisciplinary reach has expanded beyond albums: Lange composed the score for the Netflix documentary Selena y Los Dinos this year and received the Creative Impact Award from the Joyce Foundation and United States Artists. Through it all, his work returns to a core conviction—“the last sound on earth is love”—a sentiment that threads through even his most experimental turns.
At ZeyZey, doors open at 8 p.m. with Tacos María Miami and happy hour drink specials from 8-9 p.m. The performance features Helado Negro, with additional artists to be announced.
This event is 18+. For late-night shows, guests under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
