From: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
An in-depth look at the Early Renaissance takes center stage during this installment of a monthly art history lecture series at the Doral Cultural Arts Center. Presented by the City of Doral, the program explores the artistic and cultural innovations of the Quattrocento through a Spanish-language talk led by William Alonso.
Focusing on figures such as Masaccio, Brunelleschi and Donatello, the lecture examines how 15th-century artists and architects reshaped visual representation, perspective and human expression. Through guided visuals and historical context, attendees will gain insight into the technical breakthroughs and philosophical shifts that helped define the Early Renaissance and influence the trajectory of Western art.
Part of the ongoing History of Art series, this session takes place Wednesday, March 4 at the Doral Cultural Arts Center, located at 8363 NW 53rd Street. Free parking is available at 8401 NW 53rd Terrace on the second floor. The class is conducted in Spanish and is open to all ages.
