Hometown Heroes Parade

Miami-Dade’s everyday heroes take center stage as the annual Hometown Heroes Parade returns to Tropical Park for an afternoon of celebration, community and gratitude.

Now in its third year, the parade honors first responders, healthcare workers, and public servants whose dedication keeps the community safe and strong. Families can enjoy a festive lineup featuring live music, decorated floats, food vendors, and interactive fun across the Play Zone, complete with games, face painting and bounce houses.

The day’s schedule includes performances by Whiskey Allstars and Molly Takedown, sets by DJ ILLManik and the presentation of the Cesar “Echy” Echaverry Hometown Hero Award, followed by a fireworks finale.

The Hometown Heroes Parade and Festival takes place Saturday, November 1 at Tropical Park. Admission is free and open to all ages.
