III Points Satellite: Doc Martin & Bandito Chico

West Coast house veteran Doc Martin brings decades of club and rave history to Lion’s Den for a late-night III Points Satellite session with Miami DJ Bandito Chico. Held Friday, October 16, the 21-and-over event moves through deep house, acid house, tech house and related underground styles in the intimate upstairs room at Fooq’s

Doc Martin began DJing in San Francisco in 1986 before becoming closely associated with Los Angeles’ early rave scene. Over nearly four decades, his sets have drawn from house, acid and techno, with appearances ranging from warehouse parties and clubs such as Fabric and Panorama Bar to international festivals. He also founded the long-running Sublevel label and party series. Bandito Chico, a recurring presence on Lion’s Den lineups and other Miami house events, opens the night.

Located on the second floor of Fooq’s in Little River, Lion’s Den is a compact listening lounge and dance club built around high-fidelity sound, vinyl-focused DJ programming and a close connection between the booth and dance floor
