III Points Satellite: FRZZR, Disputer, Love, Jane & More

Punk, shoegaze and hazy alternative rock converge at Las Rosas for a free late-night showcase of South Florida artists during III Points Satellite. Held Sunday, October 18 in Allapattah, the 21-and-over bill features FRZZR, Disputer, Love, Jane, Bygone Summers and Moño as part of the festival’s week of programming across Miami.

Miami-based FRZZR moves between noisy punk, metal and shoegaze, while Boca Raton’s Disputer describes its sound as “somethinggaze,” rooted broadly in shoegaze. Love, Jane draws from shoegaze, post-hardcore and Midwest emo, pairing drifting guitars with a heavier alternative edge.

Bygone Summers, the solo project of Miami singer-songwriter Marcos Rodriguez, brings ambient shoegaze and dream-pop textures to the lineup. Moño rounds out the night, which takes place at Las Rosas, the Allapattah bar and live-music venue associated with Miami’s underground rock scene.
