III Points Satellite: Shaun Reeves & Ferny

Detroit-rooted house and techno meets Miami’s underground club scene as Shaun Reeves and Ferny take over Lion’s Den for a late-night III Points Satellite session. Held Saturday, October 17, the 21-and-over event pairs Reeves’ deep, minimal-leaning approach to house and techno with a set by Miami-based DJ and curator Ferny.

A founding member of the influential Visionquest collective and label, Reeves developed his sound in Detroit before spending a decade in Berlin, drawing together classic American house, post-minimal techno and tech-house. Ferny, a Colombian-born Miami artist, is the founder of the Sarah Tonin party series and record label and Director of Music Programming for Miami Sound Bar

Located upstairs from Fooq’s in Little River, Lion’s Den is an intimate vinyl-focused listening lounge built around high-fidelity sound, with Persian rugs, brass accents, low lighting and a compact dance-floor atmosphere. The event is part of III Points Satellite, the festival’s week of programming at venues throughout Miami.
