Culinary enthusiasts and novice cooks alike can explore the fascinating world of spices during the Interactive Culinary Journey with Yaniv Cohen on Thursday, March 20 at Temple Israel. Presented by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, this special Women's History Month event features renowned chef and author Yaniv Cohen, known as The Spice Detective, who will guide participants through an immersive experience centered on the diverse uses and benefits of spices from around the world.
Attendees will embark on a sensory adventure as they learn about the historical origins of various spices, their traditional applications and the numerous health benefits associated with incorporating them into everyday cooking. The workshop includes professional tips on how to effectively use spices to enhance flavors and transform ordinary dishes into extraordinary culinary creations.
The interactive experience features a guided tasting session where participants can sample different spice combinations and understand how they complement various ingredients. As a hands-on component, each attendee will create their own unique spice blend to take home, allowing them to immediately apply their newly acquired knowledge in their own kitchens.
