Invisible Dialogues
Jun 14, 2026 - Jul 31, 2026
By appointment
Abstract works by Sara Schesser and Jamir Guiza explore the unseen forces that shape biological, emotional and imaginative worlds. Invisible Dialogues runs June 14 through July 31 at Gato Gordo Gallery in Liberty City, bringing together two artists whose practices approach abstraction through different but complementary perspectives. Presented by Gato Gordo Gallery, the exhibition considers how color, form and texture can make hidden realities visible.
Schesser draws on her background in molecular biology and microbiology, translating microscopic ecosystems and organic structures into luminous compositions filled with rhythmic forms. Guiza, a Colombian artist and former director of the Museum of Art of Tolima, works through gesture, intuition and layered texture, creating expressive abstractions shaped by movement and emotion.
Together, their works create a visual exchange between science and instinct, structure and spontaneity. Gato Gordo Gallery is open by appointment.
