iWitness Global Borderless Caribbean Series

Photojournalism, cultural identity and the power of visual storytelling come into focus in Little Haiti as IPC Art Space hosts the iWitness Global Borderless Caribbean Series on Saturday, August 16. The program features acclaimed photographer and editor Dudley M. Brooks, whose career spans leadership roles at The Washington Post, Ebony and Jet, and whose work has documented stories of local, national and international significance.

In this intimate lecture, Brooks will share striking imagery from Latin America and the Caribbean while reflecting on the evolving role of photography in chronicling history and shaping public discourse. Presented with support from the Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation, CreARTE and the Miami Foundation, the event offers an engaging opportunity to explore the past, present and future of photojournalism in the Americas.
