Doors Open: 4:00 PM | Show Starts: 5:00 PM
A heavyweight spectacle arrives in downtown Miami as boxing’s most polarizing disruptor meets one of the division’s most decorated champions in a globally streamed showdown at Kaseya Center.
Taking place Friday, December 19, Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua: Judgment Day brings together two figures from vastly different boxing worlds for a sanctioned professional heavyweight bout contested over eight three-minute rounds with 10-ounce gloves. Promoted by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the fight will stream live worldwide on Netflix, available to subscribers at no additional cost.
Jake “El Gallo de Dorado” Paul enters the ring as one of the sport’s most-watched figures, continuing his rapid and controversial ascent from crossover phenomenon to ranked professional cruiserweight. Across the ring stands Anthony “AJ” Joshua, a two-time unified WBO, WBA, and IBF heavyweight champion, Olympic gold medalist, and one of the era’s most feared punchers, whose résumé includes stadium headliners and victories on boxing’s biggest stages.
Billed as the most dangerous test of Paul’s career to date, the matchup pairs modern boxing spectacle with elite heavyweight pedigree, marking Paul’s second live Netflix event following his record-breaking 2024 bout against Mike Tyson. Undercard and co-main event details will be announced ahead of fight night.
A public kickoff press conference is scheduled for Friday, November 21 at 1 p.m. at Kaseya Center, hosted by Ariel Helwani and open on a first-come, first-served basis, with livestream coverage via MVP and Netflix Sports’ YouTube channels.
This event positions Miami as the stage for a high-stakes collision between boxing’s past and its most debated future, with global attention focused squarely on what unfolds under the lights.
