July 5th DANCE Beach Clean Up

Beach cleanup, movement activities and wellness activations come together for a post-Independence Day community event on Miami Beach. July 5th DANCE Beach Clean Up takes place Sunday, July 5 at the 1st Street Lifeguard Tower in South Beach.

Presented by Color My Everything Art, the cleanup is organized by D.A.N.C.E., which stands for Dedicated Artists Now Cleaning the Environment. The event invites volunteers to help remove litter, plastics and debris from the shoreline after the July 4 holiday while taking part in music, movement and sustainability-focused programming.

Participants can expect a mix of beach cleanup efforts, dance and fitness elements, wellness experiences, creative activations, hydration and wellness sampling, sustainability education and community networking. The event is open to families, students, artists, athletes, photographers, wellness enthusiasts and anyone interested in helping care for the beach.

In recognition of America’s 250th anniversary, participating active-duty military service members and veterans will receive a special gift. No cleanup experience is required.
