Animatronic dinosaurs, fossil digs and hands-on activities fill Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo for a family-focused prehistoric adventure. Jurassic Quest runs September 11-13, bringing the touring dinosaur attraction back with life-size creatures, interactive experiences and play areas for children. The walk-through event features moving, roaring dinosaur displays along with rides, games and educational activities.
Families can see large-scale dinosaur models including a 60-foot Spinosaurus, an 80-foot Apatosaurus and a life-size T. rex. The experience also includes baby dinosaur meet-and-greets, a raptor training show, walking and stationary dinosaur rides, bounce houses, fossil digs, craft stations and “The Quest,” an interactive clue-based challenge with a reward.
Additional activities include “Tricera-tots,” a soft play area for younger children, plus LEGO-themed play zones with derby races, glow bricks and life-size models assembled from thousands of pieces.
