Jan 03, 2026 - Apr 05, 2026
weekly on Sunday, Saturday
Four tours: 10:00 AM, Noon, 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM
A guided neighborhood tour traces the historical roots and living cultural expressions that define Little Haiti through architecture, foodways and collective memory.
La Perle De Miami: Little Haiti Tour runs every Saturday and Sunday through April 5, meeting at the Little Haiti Cultural Center. Presented by Tap Tap Tours, the 90-minute walking experience examines the historical events that shaped Haiti as the world’s first free Black republic and follows how that legacy continues within Miami’s Little Haiti community.
Led in Haitian Creole, French and English, the tour connects the Haitian Revolution to present-day diasporic life, highlighting how history is carried forward through language, music, cuisine and neighborhood spaces. Participants explore the cultural and social ties linking Haiti, the island of Hispaniola and Miami, with attention to the transnational dimensions of Haitian heritage.
Tours depart at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The experience is offered weekly and is designed for visitors interested in history, culture and the architectural landscape of Little Haiti.
