Shirley’s Theater at Gramps sets the stage for an evening of short documentaries exploring life and culture in South Florida. Presented by the Subtropic Film Festival, Last Call Cinema takes place on Wednesday, May 7 and features a curated selection of regional films followed by a post-screening conversation with the filmmakers.
The program includes Florida Boys, The Mango Movie, Python Huntress, Foreverglading and Test of Time: The Big Cheese—each offering a unique lens on the people, stories and landscapes that shape the region.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m., with screenings starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12, and the event is open to guests 18 and older. Following the films, attendees are invited to stay for a Q&A session and connect with members of the local film community.
