Student creativity and cultural pride take the spotlight in an exhibition celebrating Hispanic heritage through art and film.
The 2025 Miami Latino Art Beat Exhibit opens Thursday, October 23 at the Miami Hyatt Regency Hotel, showcasing the winning works and honorable mentions from this year’s Miami Latino Art Beat competition, “What Hispanic Heritage & Culture Means to Me?” The event follows an earlier recognition ceremony at Miami City Hall with Mayor Francis X. Suarez, city officials, and representatives from Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
Featuring artwork and short films by talented local students, the exhibit highlights personal expressions of identity, community, and cultural heritage. A photo opportunity and reception with snacks and refreshments will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., with the exhibition on view through October 27.
