LIVE AT SWEAT: Southern Gothic Howl Presents Luke Schneider takes place Friday, February 27 at Sweat Records. Presented by Southern Gothic Howl in collaboration with Sweat Records, the evening pairs Schneider’s immersive compositions with vinyl selections by Carter Jackson-Brown.

Schneider has become known for reshaping the pedal steel guitar beyond its traditional country roots, developing a style often associated with the emerging “ambient country” movement. Using a vintage Emmons Push/Pull pedal steel, he layers sustained tones and atmospheric textures that draw from New Age and experimental influences while retaining a subtle connection to American roots music. In addition to his solo work, Schneider has performed with artists including William Tyler, Caitlin Rose, Margo Price and Orville Peck.
