Live on the Plaza: The French Horn Collective

French chanson, Gypsy jazz and Latin rhythms come together in an outdoor performance by the Miami-based French Horn Collective at the Adrienne Arsht Center. The ensemble returns to Live on the Plaza on Saturday, October 10, with a program of French-language standards, original songs and jazz-inflected arrangements led by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Vincent Raffard.

Founded by Raffard in Miami in 2012, the French Horn Collective draws from French swing and traditional jazz while incorporating Latin and Cuban influences shaped by its South Florida home. The Paris-born musician performs on vocals, trumpet and guitar, leading a rotating group of international musicians through ensemble arrangements and improvisation.

The performance takes place on the Parker and Vann Thomson Plaza for the Arts. Doors open 90 minutes before the concert, with light bites, beverages and happy hour pricing available.
